| Images of War and Terror Almost
three decades of war have taken the lives of hundereds of thousands of Afghans,
perhaps as many as two million people, according to many different sources. It
has destroyed great parts of the entire country, and its infrastructure completely.
The war has left behind a permanent scar on the history of the world and particularly
that of Afghanistan. Though we would like to forget the war forever, we post these
images and update them every now and then to remind everyone, specifically the
foreign countries and the Afghan warlords involved, to make sure that this will
never happen again.
